Greetings! Welcome to the first post of the CCHFH Build Blog. The purpose of this blog is to keep all interested parties informed about the progress of our current building projects, and to celebrate milestones on our way to completion. Due to the nature of construction and infamously unpredictable Oklahoma weather, some volunteer dates may change. This blog will serve as a source of valuable information for those planning to participate in our builds, as any changes to our build schedule will be updated here.
We will also be posting about our other exciting programs that we believe will benefit the entire community and get us closer to our goal of eliminating homelessness and poverty housing.
We’re happy to announce that the dirt work necessary for pouring the foundation of the home under construction at 630 Iowa Street is completed and has been approved.
