Hailstorm Delay

As you all know, last week’s weather brought damage to thousands of homes across Oklahoma. Most of us at Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity have suffered losses to our vehicles or homes. One of our Habitat homes in Moore was also damaged.

In the best circumstances construction in spring in Oklahoma is unpredictable, but this spring has seemed more stormy than usual.

To allow time for restoring our job site, and so our employees and volunteers can tend to any damages they might have, we have chosen to delay our construction again. All construction dates through the end of this week (May 8th) have been cancelled.

We’re working hard in the background to make your volunteer experience as fun as it is safe.

If you would like to learn about volunteer opportunities available in our ReStore, where the weather can’t stop us, please email [email protected]

Thanks for standing by!
