Welcome back to the Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity Build Blog, we have some exciting news about the progress of our home on Iowa Street!
Volunteer Registrations are now open! Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for our Iowa Street home construction must complete the “Construction Volunteer Application” here and complete an orientation. After completion of the application, you will be contacted to schedule your orientation.
Before volunteer Build Days become available, we have to complete the plumbing rough-in and finish pouring the slab. We plan to pour the slab next week, with the footers being completed on Monday or Tuesday. Our plumbing inspection is scheduled for the end of next week. After the plumbing inspection we will begin putting build days on the calendar and scheduling volunteers. Please stay tuned for updates, as many things can delay home construction!
We are working to get our volunteers on the job site as soon as possible, and we will post an update when build days become available.
